Industrial software · Frappe/ERPNext · human-controlled AI

Practical tools for industrial operations — built on one open platform.

Appstation builds working software for small and medium-sized industrial companies: structured forms and data collection, AI-assisted workflows, technical support and asset service, automation, reporting and integrations. Everything below is demonstrated live, not promised.

What we build

Where operations meet software

We start from what has to work better on the factory floor or in the support queue — not from a tool.

01

Industrial forms & structured data

Deviation reports, inspections and operational records that people actually fill in — with AI help to turn free text into structured, validated data.

02

Technical support & asset service

Tickets, devices, assets and knowledge in one place. AI triages and cites approved articles; humans assign, verify and close.

03

Operational coordination

Exception handling, recovery planning and safe-restart workflows across quality, material, maintenance and management roles.

04

Reporting, exports & integrations

Registers, dashboards, CSV/Excel exports, print formats, stable REST APIs and Power BI-friendly datasets — data is never trapped.

Industrial AI

AI that assists real work — under human control

Every AI-assisted step follows the same auditable pipeline. The application stays fully usable with AI switched off.

  1. PrepareAI reads authorized context, extracts values, classifies, flags missing or contradictory data, and cites its sources.
  2. ReviewPeople see every suggestion with its confidence and source class, and accept or reject each one.
  3. CommitOnly a human submits. The server validates deterministically and ERPNext stores the record.
  4. AuditEvery AI run, edit, approval and created record is traceable — actor, mode, model, and outcome.

Live demos

Two working demonstrations, one platform

Both demos run on the same live Frappe/ERPNext foundation with a fictional Swedish factory — Småland Profile Systems Demo AB. No login is needed; each visitor gets an isolated, resettable workspace with synthetic data only.

LIVE

Industrial Forms & Data Copilot

For operators and quality teams. Free-text observations become structured production deviation reports: the copilot extracts values, suggests classification, detects missing and contradictory information — and you review every suggestion before a real ERPNext record is created.

Open the demo

No login needed · press G in the demo for guided mode, ? for keyboard help · CSV export and Frappe Desk links included · synthetic demo data only.

LIVE

AI Technical Support & Asset Service Desk

For IT and technical support teams. Describe an issue naturally; AI triages it, links registered devices, asks clarifying questions and cites approved knowledge. Humans confirm the ticket, work it through a real workflow, and record a verified resolution that can become reusable knowledge.

Open the demo

No login needed · guided mode and keyboard help built in · real ERPNext assets and audit trail · synthetic demo data only.

LIVE

Operations Hub

Platform proof. A production exception travels from operator report through quality, material and maintenance approvals to an authorised restart — every step on real ERPNext records with role-based permissions.

Open the demo

Viewable without login; role actions require demo sign-in · synthetic demo data only.

GUIDED DEMO

Kvalitetsporten (quality kiosk)

Design reference. A touch-first quality decision kiosk that inspired the platform's industrial design language. Presented in Swedish.

Swedish-language guided demonstration · not part of the Frappe platform.

How the platform works

One Frappe/ERPNext foundation under everything

Authentication, roles, permissions, records, workflows, audit history, reports, exports and APIs come from one proven open-source platform — not a patchwork of disconnected tools.

  1. ERPNext recordsWork orders, quality inspections, assets, material requests and tickets are real ERP documents with full history.
  2. Role-based workflowsOperators report, specialists approve, managers oversee — enforced by permissions, not habit.
  3. Administration in DeskEverything the demos create is visible and manageable in the standard Frappe Desk back office.
  4. Open integrationCSV and Excel exports, print formats, REST APIs, webhooks and Power BI-friendly datasets by design.
